About the Teacher
My name is Noelle McCann. My husband and I have lived in Grand Rapids for 10 years and we have two beautiful girls. Sadie is 5 and Katelyn is 3 years old. I've loved music for as long as I can remember. Most of my favorite childhood memories involve music - School musicals, church choirs, dance recitals. I've studied piano for 12 years. I've played on the church praise team and started a children's choir.
But I didn't truly understand the importance of music for children until I became a mother myself. Ive been amazed at the way music can comfort and soothe. I love how a familiar song makes a childs face light up. Research has shown and continues to prove the countless benefits of music for young children, but I still just love to see my toddler start to boogie when she hears a good beat!
My goal in every Kindermusik class is to create an environment where families can enjoy time together and I can pass along some simple ways to bring music into your home. I would love to help you fill your child's world with music.
